Sit back and take in the spectacular 360 degree mountain views or head for a hike with your dog along the Queenstown Trail, just a short walk away – just be sure to keep your pooch under control and respect the cyclists who also use this trail. The trail is a great choice for all levels of fitness and you can choose how long you walk for and how lazily you do it – great for those of us who would be making frequent stop offs at cafes along the way. Alternatively you can head along the Lake Hayes walkway (leashed dogs only), which is a stunning 8km (2-3 hour) easy walking track, designed for a leisurely day out.<\/p>\n
